We spent a lovely, relaxing long weekend in your cosy cottage; so warm and welcoming to come back to after our walks. The large boot/drying room was a great advantage with our dog in tow!
The log burner was an added bonus, although central heating was more than adequate.
Though the weather wasn’t the best during our stay it didn’t dampen our spirits.
There are plenty of walks straight from the door; we will have to return to explore them more.
Popped across the road to the summerhouse for a glass of vino and game of cards in the evening.. who needs a pub! .. plus the views are fantastic

We spent a week at the cottage at the end of June / beginning of July. The cottage and surrounding countryside exceeded our high expectations. We had an elderly parent with us and the facilities in the cottage were accessible, safe and comfortable. The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and well equipped for our needs.
The location is beautiful and ideal for anyone who loves nature and walking. There are several local footpaths marked on the Ordnance Survey map and we managed all of them, but be aware that some of them, although signposted, haven't been used for a long time and we had to use some initiative to complete the walks!
